Very nice hotel located by a good night market.

Great breakfast, great deep bathtub and nice shower. Comfy bed, and great location by nightmarket.

Missed our driver at airport, but taxi turned out cheaper anyway.

Pleasant stay!

The room was spacious and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The breakfast spread could have a wider selection. Overall was good but could add in more local food selection.

Great location with good quality rooms

Great location right next to Shilin Night Market. Very handy by MRT on main red line. YouBike station just behind hotel. Clean & comfortable rooms with large windows which is a real bonus.

Like some older hotels the air-conditioning is not adjustable. Was set very cold (18 degrees C) during the time we were there. Asked reception if it could be turned up, but they said it wasn't possible. Breakfast was OK but limited choice. Some more variety would have been nice.

Fantastic boutique hotel in a great, quiet section of Taipei. I'll go back

The shower was great - great water pressure, great HOT HOT water if you like that. The bathtub was super clean, large, and the water pressure helped the tub fill up quickly. The bedroom was very nice. Decent Size - we were in 703. *NOTE* We started out in the extremely large room 705 - but the whole hotel has the AC controls locked. The result of that and 705 (and the fact that 705 faces south) is that 705 was too hot - so they moved us without a problem. The location is great - across the street from the best night market in Taipei. Also, there is a 7/11 in the B1 level of the hotel (the entrance to the 7/11 is on the outside) The coffee on the 1st floor is fantastic, and free. We ate at the nightmarket daily. Great hotel!

We had to ask for a fan - but that made it perfect.

Convenience but BAD SERVICE

Convenience.

Bad service from staffs. We already indicate our rooms as do not disturb but yet staffs make up 2 of our rooms when we were away. Breakfast was pathetic not much variety and there is a male staff who was extremely rude. He did not collect our used plates and when we tided up and passed them to him, in return what we get is his bad attitude and asked us not to do that as he will go around collecting. Come on there are only 3 tables including ours and yet he is just stood there watching our used plates piling up and not clearing.

Very good location - near MRT and night market.

Very good location - near MRT and night market. Very courteous and accommodating staff specially those at the front desk who speak English and can provide information that enabled us to go around the tourist attractions by ourselves. Buffet breakfast and afternoon tea are extra value.

We liked everything. It's really value for money.

Very disappointed with room given. Genius perks not evident. No difference from normal booking.

Location.

Booked room specifically stated is with Shilin night market view but was not given one. Been a frequent guest over the years. Had enjoyed sitting by the window enjoying the Shilin snacks and watching the scene below previously. Was looking forward to relive the experience but was very disappointed.

What was the highlight of Grandee Taipei Resort

Great value, convenient location, helpful staff, larger than average bathroom

The location across from the Shilin night market and Jiantan metro station were super convenient and served as a good base to explore the rest of Taipei. The staff were friendly and helpful. Although we didn't make too much use of it, the complimentary breakfast spread had a diverse selection of foods (eggs, deli meats, cereals, steamed buns). The bathroom was surprisingly large for what we're accustomed to in Asia, and included both a shower and tub.

Overall, the hotel was clean and well-maintained. However, I noticed the shower had some missing floor tiles which allowed green algae to form in the grout. It wasn't anything too serious, just a deep cleaning and maintenance issue. The WiFi was free, but we had trouble getting a strong signal at times.
